My children and brothers and sisters in Christ, as we walk with God, we should on a daily basis ask God to help us take inventory of any "hidden sins" we may have. When you discover them, pray to The Lord that He will purge them from you. If these sins are not removed, your relationship with God and others are in jeopardy. According to Matthew 5:28, this can include even the thought. In Matthew 5:28 the conversation is about marriage and adultery. Jesus reminded them that the actual act of committing adultery was a sin, but He added that even to look at a woman in a lustful way means you have already committed adultery in your heart. This can apply to any circumstance whether it be any type of lust, envy, or temptation. You are probably thinking that living without committing a sin is impossible and you are right. There is no way we can live a sinless life. God knew this and because of His love for us, he made a plan for us to be reconciled with Him. He sent His only son in human form (a man without sin) to take upon the sins of the world (John 3:16) so that our relationship with God can be restored through Christ Jesus, our Lord, and Savior. Do you have hidden sins that need to brought before The Lord? If you do, bring them before The Lord so that your relationship with God is fully restored.
