My Daily Coffee with God: Loving Others

My children and brothers and sisters in Christ, in this present world, showing love to someone can be interpreted as a sign of weakness, and sometimes not accepted because the people you show love to think it comes with a catch. Also, in this world, if someone hates you, you are to hate them also. How do we get around this? First of all, realize the world is broken and contaminated in sin. People do not understand that God loves them. As Christians, we have to take the first step to love them. That is what God did for all mankind. He first loved us and sent his only son to take our sins upon Him (1 John 4:10).
