Do the Right Thing

My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I like this story because it reminds me that we are not perfect as long as we live in our present condition. I can imagine how Josiah felt after he heard the words from the Book of God's Law. He wanted to serve God. When he realized that there was more to serving God, he grieved. When I trusted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I was in my thirties. I mourn because of all the time I wasted being rebellious. However, I know that our loving God heals and restores us, and leads us gently to a deeper understanding of His will. Do not squander your life away being rebellious. Turn to Jesus, trust Him as your Lord and Savior, and enjoy living with our loving and gentle God.
