Racial Fault Lines
My Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, All that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. During the time of this journal, the country is divided along racial lines. That started with the presidential campaign. Our present, Donald Trump, ran and won on the platform of racial dividedness. Throughout the years, our country has welcome immigrants from all parts of the world. We are rich in resources and have plenty for everyone. We have learned and grown so much because of the diversities in our country. However, our president feels that we have too many immigrants of color and wants to turn them away and leave them to their own devices, which includes starvation, disease, war, persecution, and death. Instead of embracing our cultural differences, he has chosen to reject and persecute. All we can do is pray for him and our country and for those who president Trump has and will turn away. God does not want us as Christians to fall into that way of thinking. God mandates to love your neighbors and care for them. Remember we have never seen God and we do not know what He looks like. We have a glimpse because all of us are made in His image. Love all people regardless of race, color or cultural background as you love God.
