To Witness Jesus's Death

When Jesus gave up his spirit, there were earthquakes, the skies grew dark, and the veil in Jerusalem was torn, I can only imagine the fear and silence that filled many hearts. Those who followed Jesus celebrated quietly because they knew His death and soon resurrection meant our salvation through Jesus. Others, like the Roman detail, proclaimed that Jesus was a righteous man and the Son of God, the true Son of God, not Caesar. When we celebrate Easter, we pass by the road of the cross.
