Responding to God's Call

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries. Today's devotion is titled "Responding to God’s Leading" The scripture is from Exodus 3:7–14 with key verse being "At once they left their nets and followed him." Matthew 4:20. Julie Schwab wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. What I take from this passage is when we are sure that we hear God's calling, we obey immediately and without question. It can mean leaving your comfort zone and venturing into something new. When you follow Jesus, it is worth the inconvenience and risk.
