The Promised Land

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries. Today's devotion is titled "The Land of Far Distances" The scripture is from Isaiah 33:17–22 with key verse being "Your eyes will see the king in his beauty and view a land that stretches afar" Isaiah 33:17. David C. McCasland wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. What I take from this devotion is whatever trouble or trial we are facing it will not last forever. We can look beyond our pains and suffering to a future land where Christ will reign as our judge, lawgiver, and king.
