I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries. Today's devotion is titled "'Lovable!'" The scripture is from Jeremiah 31:1–6 with key verse being "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness" Jeremiah 31:3. Adam Holz wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. There are no such things as "bad luck or karma," "coincidence." God is in control of everything. He allows bad things to happen to teach and prepare or chastise us. When it happens, we feel that God no longer loves and forsakes us. As we embrace His everlasting love, we find that God’s discipline is for our good and is proof that we are His children (Hebrews 12:5–7). Then, we begin to understand the scope of God’s love, and we can accept His correction and learn from it.
