Blinded Self-righteous

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries. Today's devotion is titled "Impaired Judgment" The scripture is from Matthew 7:1–6 with key verse being "Do not judge, or you too will be judged" Matthew 7:1. Linda Washington wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words. He is the sole source of my writing. All the credit goes to God, not to me. I am only his humble servant. It is amazing how much I am like the authors who write these devotions. Today, it is about judging others. I was the "King" of judging others. I had a "righteous" opinion about everyone, but me. Through God's word, I know how wrong I was, and repent for being that type of person. I still slip every-now-and-then, but I quickly stop and ask for forgiveness. Sometimes we forget that in our haste to judge others. We’re all in need of God’s grace.
