God's Rescue

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “God’s Brand” The scripture is from Zechariah 3:1–7 with the key verse, “I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments on you” Zechariah 3:4. Tim Gustafson wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. As I mentioned yesterday, we do not choose God; God chooses to save us. We can not choose God because of our spiritual condition. God made a way through Jesus that we can be saved and used for His glory. God rescues us because He loves us; then He equips us to share His love with others.

Father, we give You our thanks for rescuing us and making us right with You. We humbly ask for Your Spirit’s guidance as we serve You today.

May God bless and use you to serve Him.
