We Are Stars Shinning in the Sky

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Twinkle” The scripture is from Philippians 2:14–16 with the key verse, “Shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life” Philippians 2:15–16. Elisa Morgan wrote this devotion My beloved brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. Does it appear to you that people are always grumbling and discontent? I have noticed. On my job some of my coworkers are unhappy. I try to be "The Star shining in the sky" for them because I have peace in my heart that comes from Jesus. As Christians live a quiet and peaceable life of gratitude, we can hope that we draw people to Christ because they sense His Spirit working in us to give us a grateful heart.

Dear God, may Your light shine out of the very cracks of our beings as we hold out the Word of life to others.
