God Sings to Us

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Our Singing Father” The scripture is from Zephaniah 3:14–20 with the key verse, “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will . . . rejoice over you with singing” Zephaniah 3:17. Adam Holz wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. I do not remember anyone singing to me when I was young. I am glad to know that God cares and loves so much as to sing to us, for comfort. How about that? The creator of all and the Mighty Warrior who saves and restores is willing to sing to any of us who are broken hearted. What an amazing God!

Father, help us to embrace Your tender love and “hear” the songs You sing.
