I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Always Accepted” The scripture is from Luke 19:1–10 with the key verse, “The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10. Leslie Koh wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. I was not a good person when I first got out of the Navy. I was the worst of the worst. My spiritual self was dead. My tennis friend was saved, and he started talking to me about God's love. Although I started reading The Bible, I did not understand it, and I figured that I would never be saved. I was too far gone. I met my wife Dora, and she said that she wanted a man who loved God, her, and her children. Mario, Dora, and Christ moved me to confess my sins and turn my life over to God. The tears flowed, but it was the happiest day of my life. I know exactly how Zacchaeus felt. We’re not perfect, but we’re loved.
Father, thank You for loving me as I am, and for making me perfect through Your Son’s sacrifice. Teach me to submit to Your daily renewal.
May God bless, find, and save you.
