Forget Your Past

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “My Real Face” The scripture is from 1 Timothy 1:12–17 with the key verse, “I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service..” 1 Timothy 1:12. Xochitl Dixon wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. This devotion is a follow up to Always Accepted by Leslie Koh. I was a sinner among sinners, but God found me and appointed me for His service. I did not worry about my past because I knew God did not remember. We accept God’s grace and forgiveness; we’re freed from our past.

Lord, thanks for eliminating our shame and insecurities as You use us to serve You, no matter what our life looked like before You saved us.

May God continue to bless and use you to serve Him.
