There is No Peace Except with God Through Our Lord Jesus Christ

I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Where Is Peace?” The scripture is from Jeremiah 8:8–15 with the key verse, “We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 5:1. Tim Gustafson wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He lead me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. God created a perfect place for us to live. In the Garden of Eden man dwelt with God and there was peace. Humankind rebelled, and peace disappeared. From that time, God was our enemy. However, God loved us and made a plan to restore peace between Him and us, through Christ our Lord. Jesus came to this planet to reconcile us to God and give us that inner peace.
