I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “Unexpected Kindness”. The scripture is taken from Ephesians 2:1–10 with the key verse, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” Ephesians 2:10. Amy Boucher Pye wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. I often dream of a world where everyone was kind and willing to share their blessings and love with others. Since the Fall of Mankind, the reality is that it will not come to pass until Jesus’ return. In the meantime, God loved us so much that he gave His only Son to be a sacrifice for our sins. Therefore, we are saved by grace. As believers, our foundation for loving others is because we’ve been loved by God. We can spread God’s love through our everyday actions of love towards others in many ways.

Dear Father, You created us in Your image, and we rejoice that we can share Your love and life. Help us to see the opportunities to give ourselves to others today.

May God bless and help you see opportunities to share your life with others.
