I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org.“Expect the Messiah” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Matthew 13:53–58 with the key verse, “'Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary?'” Matthew 13:55. Patricia Raybon wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. When I was a child, I never doubted God that He would answer prayers. My grandmother always told me that God hears all prayers. My concern was that He would answer my prayers when it came to sports and I would have an unfair advantage. Now that I have grown in The Lord, I know my thinking is wrong. Now I trust in our Savior’s wisdom and power, especially in the ordinary details of my daily life. I don't want to miss out on His life transforming my life.

When I doubt You, Lord, help my unbelief.

May God bless you, and remember God is in control and He is able.
