I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “Heaven’s Love Song” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Revelation 5:1–13 with the key verse, “We love him because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19. Mart DeHaan wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. This devotion is truly "Heaven's Love Song." The passage sings of Jesus as the only who can open the scrolls, who has won the hearts of His subjects by lovingly sacrificing Himself, like a Lamb, for our rescue from the wages of sins. Jesus' simple act of kindness brought us salvation and reflects God's love. We can thank God through simple acts of kindness.

Father, please help us to see that even the smallest acts of love and kindness can remind us of Your love for us.
