The Highest

I start every morning and evening with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. “The Highest Place” is the title of today’s devotion. The scripture is from Colossians 1:15–23 with the key verse, “He is before all things, and in him, all things hold together.” Colossians 1:17. Keila Ochoa wrote this devotion. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, before I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. This devotion is to remind us that Jesus is above all things and deserves our highest praise. We lift Him up because that is His rightful place. Jesus has given us what no one else could, access to God and eternal life. He conquered death and won our hearts by His love and sacrifice. Jesus gives us new strength every day.

Jesus, You are my Savior and my Lord, and I want to give You the highest place of honor in my life.
