wp:paragraph I start every morning with coffee and God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread Ministries, https://odb.org. Today’s devotion is titled “More Than Just Waiting” The scripture is taken from Acts 1:4–11 with the key verse, “[Jesus] gave them this command: 'Do not leave Jerusalem but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.'" Acts 1:4. Peter Chin wrote this devotion. My beloved children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters in Christ, all that I write, I pray first to God to guide my words, so that it may serve as spiritual food and guidance. I want God to be the sole source of my writing, so all the credit goes to Him, not to me. I am only his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as a base for comments. I honestly wanted to be an ordained minister to teach and spread the Word. However, God has other plans. I have a lot more preparation before I can step into this role. I am attending a church that has various resources to educate one about the life of Jesus, the Gospels, and more in-depth insight into the scriptures. So, I wait, but idle, I am studying and serving God in other ways. Insight: Do you find yourself in a season of waiting? How can you see this as a season of preparation instead?

May God bless you and may you take advantage of the downtime to prepare for the tasks God has planned for you.
