A Divine Duet

I start every morning with coffee with God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread. Today’s devotion is titled “A Divine Duet.” Jennifer Benson Schuldt wrote this devotion. The scripture reading is John 15:1–11 with the key verse, “If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit,” John 15:5. My beloved children, grandchildren, cousins, nephews, brothers, and sisters in Christ, all I write, I first pray to God to guide my words to serve as spiritual food and guidance. I desire God to be my sole source of writing. All the credit goes to God, not me. I am his humble servant. I thank God that He led to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as my inspiration for comments.

I remember when I thought I had answers for everything. I started reading The Bible but could not understand. I tried to tell others in my life about God, it was confusing.

When I became a Christian, The Holy Spirit was with me. With the Holy spirit’s help, I started to understand the scriptures. Also, I learned how to tell people about God’s love for us and how He sacrificed His son, who died for our sins so we can have eternal life.

Every day, God and I walk together as a duet. I do the witnessing, and His grace and power carry the melody of our spiritual lives.

Reflect:

When have you felt nervous or self-conscious about sharing your deeds and gifts for God? How can your deeds and gifts help others, and what are the ways you can share them?

Prayer:

Jesus, empower me to let my God-given light shine so others can see and glorify You.

My Prayer for You:

May God bless and empower you to let your God-given light shine so others can see and glorify God.
