Hope Blossoms

I start every morning with coffee with God through daily devotions from Our Daily Bread. Today’s devotion is titled “Hope Blossoms.” Patricia Raybon wrote this devotion. The scripture reading is Isaiah 35:1–4 with the key verse, “The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom.”, Isaiah 35:1. My beloved children, grandchildren, cousins, nephews, brothers, and sisters in Christ, for all I write, I first pray to God to guide my words to serve as spiritual food and guidance. I desire God to be my sole source of writing. All the credit goes to God, not me. I am his humble servant. I thank God that He led to use Our Daily Bread Ministries as my inspiration for comments.

When I feel hopeless, I turn to God. At night I spend time looking at the stars. His creation of the universe points to His glory. Within all His creation, He remembers me and transforms my despair to renewed hope.

Reflect:

When you feel hopeless, how do you usually respond? How could spending time outdoors in God’s creation transform your despair to renewed hope in God?

Prayer:

Dear God, thank You for the splendor of Your creation, pointing me to Your glory, and reviving my hope in You. For encouragement, read Hope: Choosing Faith Instead of Fear at discoveryseries.org/q0733.

My Prayer for You:

May God bless and revive your hope in Him.
