Always Listen To God's Direction

I start every day with God and reading daily devotions from Our Daily Bread. Today's devotion is titled "Listening Matters." James Banks wrote this devotion. The scripture reading is from Psalm 85. The key verse is, "I will listen to what God the Lord says." Psalm 85:8. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ; before I write, I first pray to God to guide my words to serve as spiritual food and guidance. I desire God to be my sole source of writing. All the credit goes to God, not me. I am his humble servant. I thank God that He led me to use Our Daily Bread Ministries to inspire comments and witnessing.

As Christians, we must read scripture every day. When I read the scriptures, I immediately ask for God's guidance to know what He wants our followers on our various blogs to know about Him.

Listening matters to God. When we listen to God and obey His teaching, He'll help us navigate life's worst challenges.

Father, help us to stay close to You in our thoughts, words, and actions. Please use us as Your servant to bring Your hope to others.
