Let's Give Credit Where Credit Is Due
I pray that you start every day with God. I chose to read daily devotions from Our Daily Bread or Inspirations APP. Today's devotion is titled "Give Credit Where Credit is Due." Darla Noble wrote this devotion. The scripture reading is from Psalm 103:2-5. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I first pray to God to guide my words to serve as spiritual food and guidance. I desire God to be my sole source of writing. All the credit goes to God, not me. I am his humble servant. I thank God for leading me to use The Inspirations APP.
My Comments to You:
We all have been hurt from time to time by people we love and trust. To be hurt by your most trusted friends is deeply painful. You can have self-doubt. Your choices are to lash back or ask God to bless you with healing from self-doubt and ask Him to bless you with people in your life who treat you with the same kindness and mercy you showed them and others. Ask God to let you feel the peace and joy from knowing you are living a life that pleases Him. Ask God to satisfy your desire for good things with what He knows is best for you.
Reflections:
What are the desires of your heart? How might God satisfy those desires with things He knows are good for you? How will you feel if God's blessings to you differ from those You covet for yourself?
My Prayer for Us:
Dear God, Please heal our hearts from sin and selfishness. Bless us with things that create in us a good and clean heart so we can be more like you. We pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.
